Sharkey’s Grill And Ale House: Fresh Seafood and American Classics in Philadelphia

I've been here twice now and have to say this place has really good food and great service. On our first visit, they were short staffed, and the bartender was our waitress. She never complained, and we couldn't tell they were short with how well she handled it. As a group, we had the ribs, sharkys burger and shrimp scampi pasta. Everything was delicious. My only complaint is that we ordered the pizza board as an app and they came out cold. Other than that, we will be back many more times.

Good bartenders , good food, prices are reasonable and plenty of parking, nice atmosphere also.

Pleasantly surprised by Sharkey's. We were in the neighborhood intending to go to the restaurant across the street but the wait there was over an hour. We walked across to Sharkey's and much to our surprise found plenty of seating available. I can't understand why this place wasn't full. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They have a huge full bar and outdoor deck seating both covered and uncovered. We started with the Ultimate Nachos and Onion Petal appetizers. Nachos were crisp and loaded with cheese, chicken and jalapeños. The Onion Petals were lightly battered and not the least bit oily. The Baked Ziti and Sausage dinner was quite good. A very generous helping of pasta smothered in sauce and cheese with an even more generous portion of Italian sausage. Very tasty. The Hot Brisket sandwich and Chicken Parm sandwich were equally as good. Both on bakery fresh kaiser rolls, the brisket was tender and came with au jus and perfectly cooked fries. The Chicken Parm sandwich was obviously homemade.... chicken breast pounded thin, dipped in real bread crumb (not cracker meal) and lightly fried. Service was excellent. Our server was friendly and very attentive especially with soda refills. Great experience!

The fries were fresh and crispy. My husband and I enjoyed it, could’ve had less seasoning on it. Felt like they dumped a bunch on, but that’s just our preference. Some people might like a layer of seasoning on their fries ! We also go the clam casino, and thought if was okay. We never had it before until here. It could’ve been maybe we just don’t like clam casino. But it was like a 6/10. We didn’t take a photo of the shrimp taco, but that was delicious . It had so much flavor and a hint of spice! Mmmm! We also got their wings and I thought it was delicious as well. (Husband thought it was average) ! Service was amazing! She was the only one on the floor. Bartending and serving !

Awesome food, great deck for dining/drinks. $16 prime rib on Thursday nights! $10 menu Mondays. But good anytime! A once a week hit for us. Great bar for game watching too

First time there today (to celebrate my birthday). Came with my Mom and brother. The food was good portion size, AND delicious and fresh. The ambience was very nice. ...but, the BEST EXPERIENCE was the Barmaid/Waitress, Erin. OMG! She was friendly, inviting, informative, and made us all feel so welcomed. She always checked on us, and also wished me a Happy Birthday. It is people like ERIN that make you WANT to come back and visit. Thank YOU, Erin, for making my birthday memorable. ...and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you for tomorrow. Please give Erin a damn raise!!!

The food was delicious. I got the fried citrus scallops, crabs cakes, bang bang shrimp, and crab pizza. The bartender Erin was friendly, as was the server John. I highly recommend this place. If this place was by the beach it would make millions.

Another hidden gem in Philadelphia. Great appetizers and really good cheesesteaks, crispy fries. Brushetta was so delicious. Friendly and courteous wait staff. Everyone needs to check this place out!!! I will be back again soon.
